In 2002 the members of the Board of the Manchester Scholarship Foundation voted unanimously to become a chapter of Dollars for Scholars, a program of the Citizens' Scholarship Foundation of America. There are over 700 active Dollars for Scholars chapters nationally. Through this affiliation the Foundation enjoys access to the Collegiate Partners Program in which more than 450 colleges, universities and post secondary schools agree not to reduce their grant aid to students who have received scholarships from local Dollars for Scholars chapters. Additionally, this affiliation benefits the Foundation by connecting it to resources related to corporate and privately sponsored incentive grants, training programs, development strategies, and public relations and marketing opportunities.
